Madison County Recent Arrests is a private reference service, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody or release status, release a person, post bond, pull an official record, or change a government file. Contact the office that created or controls the record.
Choose the Office That Holds It
Three Madison County offices handle different parts of an arrest record. The Sheriff’s main office handles agency administration. The detention facility is the source for jail and booking questions. The Criminal Records Division handles the published local records service and record requests. Their Wheeler Avenue addresses are close, but they are not interchangeable.

Use the destination that matches the question:
- For a county booking photo or booking sheet, use the official roster first, then contact the MCSO Criminal Records Division.
- For an unserved warrant question, use the Madison County Magistrates’ Warrant Office or an attorney.
- For a very recent booking, check the Daily Arrest Report route and call the jail if timing matters.
- For release or transfer alerts, use VINELink registration; detention staff do not place notification calls.
- For an HPD, Madison Police, or Triana Police report, contact that city agency or clerk.
- For a sentenced state prisoner, use the Alabama Department of Corrections inmate search.
- For federal or immigration custody, use the BOP or ICE locator rather than the county roster.
